Breakdown operator saves the day for 2 ladies in robbery

Today a breakdown operator known by all as CHOPPA responded from Rabie to Bickardt street Polokwane to attend to an accident.

On his way he noticed that 2 ladies was hold up by a man with a firearm. The man already took one ladies cell phone.

Without hesitation, he confronted the man and managed to disarm the man and made a citizens arrest after he apprehended him. Members of the community were fast to assist.

The two ladies laid criminal charges of Armed robbery against the criminal. It was later established that the firearm used was a pellet pistol.
