A 4-year-old girl was left in a critical condition this afternoon following a non-fatal drowning incident at a residence in Kensington.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 13h45 and were greeted by the mother at the gate holding the child.
Paramedics assessed the girl and found that she was in a critical condition.
The girl was treated for her injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the girl was transported to a provincial hospital for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known.
