Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on scene on Rockdale Avenue in Westville to find the man in a serious condition on the roadside. The man was apparently hijacked in the early hours of the morning and dumped in the Westville area. He had sustained serious injuries to his head and was stabilised on scene by Rescue Care Paramedics before been transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
Saps were on scene and will be investigating.
