Motor vehicle collision in Verulam

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to Wick Street in the Verulam CBD after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival Reaction Officers found a Mercedes Benz tip truck, Ford Escort and an Opel Corsa involved in the collision. It was established that the Ford Escort was travelling on the left lane down Wick Street. The driver suddenly attempted to change lanes when he noticed the Opel Corsa stationary in front of him. The Mercedes Benz truck was travelling on the right lane when it collided into the Ford Escort which knocked into the stationary Opel Corsa.

The occupants of all three vehicles were not injured.
