Paramedics from Emer-G-Med responded to reports of a patient that got caught by cables in a construction site in a building in Braamfontein trying to fix an elevator.
On arrival, we were taken to the 20th floor of the building where we found the patient in a small room. The patient had serious fractures of both his legs. We stabilized on the scene, ALS intervention and then had to carry the patient out.
The patient was transported to a nearby private hospital for further care.
