Pedestrian critical after being knocked over by truck in Benoni

A man in his 40s is in a critical condition after being knocked over by a truck on Springs Road, Benoni this afternoon.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 14:18 to find a man in the road having suffered multiple injuries. Advanced Life Support interventions were administered on route to the Tambo Memorial Hospital in Boksburg.

SAPS were on the scene for further investigation.
