Gauteng: At 21H03 Saturday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in Bloubosrand, Randburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that a 50-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to his fore-arm and blunt force trauma to his upper torso.
The patient was treated on scene by an Advanced life support and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
Circumstances leading up to the shooting will be investigated by the SAPS.
