The 9mm CZ 75 firearm (pictured) was recovered in a toilet at a service station in the Verulam CBD a short while ago (Monday) .
At approximately 09:32 a member of Reaction Unit South Africa entered the toilet and found the firearm on top of the toilet roll holder. It contained an extented magazine containing 17 rounds of ammunition.
The firearm has been handed over to Police who are currently tracking down the owner.
