Eastern Cape: KwaNobuhle police seek public’s assistance in solving a murder case

KING WILLIAMS TOWN – Police in KwaNobuhle seek public’s assistance in solving a murder case after the body of a man (38) was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside the house in KwaNobuhle, Uitenhage last night.

On Thursday, 20 June 2019 at about 7:20pm, the police were summoned to a complaint of a possible murder at a house in Sigila Crescent, KwaNobuhle (Uitenhage). At the scene, police found the body of a man that was identified as Chuma Vutha with multiple gunshot wounds in the upper body. Vutha’s nephew alleged that he was visiting his uncle (Vutha) when he found the body of his uncle lying on the floor inside the bedroom.

At this stage, the motive for the shooting is unknown however the police are looking at all possibilities.
