Tshwane Metro Police recovered a stolen vehicle in Pretoria North

While doing patrols in Pretoria North on Wednesday, 26 June 2019, Tshwane Metro Police special operations officers spotted a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and inspected. Upon verification of the registration number of the vehicle, it was discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen in Kagiso in the Johannesburg area.

The two occupants in the vehicle were then arrested for possession of a suspected stolen vehicle.

A third suspect was also arrested after he brought fraudulent documents indicating that he bought the vehicle.

The MMC for Community Safety, Alderman Karen Meyer, has welcomed the arrest and commended the team for their hard work and dedication.

The Tshwane Metro Police Department will continue to work very hard to curb the elements of crime in our society. Well done, officers!
