Port Elizabeth: SAPS Gelvandale detectives are seeking the next of kin of a woman who was found laying on the side of Standford Road on Tuesday, 26 May 2020.
It is alleged that at about 19:30, a patrolling police vehicle saw the woman lying near the Cleary Park robots in Standford Road. She was already dead. No visible injuries were found on her. She was wearing a pair of blue jeans, a dark-colored top and her head covered with a scarf. The identity of the woman is unknown.
Police have opened an inquest docket and are appealing to anyone who may assist in identifying the woman to contact D/Sgt Edman Mandeka at SAPS Gelvandale on 078 370 9785 or 041 402 2018 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
