Deputy Minister of Transport to monitor compliance in scholar transport

The Deputy Minister of Transport Ms Dikeledi Magadzi will visit Limpopo to monitor compliance to the 70% seating capacity by scholar transport operators in Seshego on Monday, 08 June 2020 as the Grade 7 and 12 learners are expected to return to school.

Deputy Minister Magadzi will be joined by the MEC for Transport and Community Safety in Limpopo Ms Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya.

Ms Magadzi and Ms Lerule-Ramakhanya will also inspect adherence to Covid-19 public transport regulations by the minibus taxi operators at the Polokwane Taxi Rank. They will also stopover at the Mankweng Driving Licence and Testing Centre to review the state of readiness and compliance to Covid-19 directives.
