Police checks COVID-19 compliance at police stations

he South African Police Service National Steering Committee has mandated that compliance and audit inspections be conducted to determine the state of compliance to the supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as protocols designed for the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic. Employees are compelled to protect themselves, their fellow colleagues and the communities they serve.

The Deputy National Commissioner for Human Resource Management, Lieutenant General Mgwenya together with the Divisional Commissioner for Legal Services, Lieutenant General Khan are visiting the Westonaria Police Station.

The purpose of the visit forms part of the National Steering Committee’s mandate to conduct compliance inspections aiming to ensure that the necessary health and safety protocols are being followed at all SAPS premises to prevent the transmission of the #Coronavirus to members. #StaySafe #EmployeeHealthAndWellness
