Man gunned down through bedroom window in Ndwedwe – KZN

A man was shot and killed through his bedroom window at his residence in Cottonlands, Ndwedwe during the early parts of this morning.

The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Center received a call from a resident in the area at approximately 01:10 reporting at least seven gunshots being fired in the area. While Reaction Officers were responding to the scene a second caller reported the discovery of a man who had been shot in his home.

On arrival, RUSA Members found neighbors at the victim’s house. The front door was open and the man was found lying on the floor of his bedroom. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his head and died at the scene. The motive for the murder had not been established.

The South African Police Service is investigating further.
