Drug dealer arrested in Galeshewe

In an attempt to clamp down on drug dealing in the greater Galeshewe area, members attached to the Provincial Crime Intelligence unit and Kimberley K9 pounced on a female drug dealer.

The team reacted to information about drugs allegedly being sold at a house in Mtshaza Street in Galeshewe.

The members confiscated and seized 2.85kg of dagga and 92 pokes of dagga with an estimated street value of R6 500-00 and as well as loose dagga.

A 31-year-old female was arrested and charged for dealing in dagga. The suspect will soon appear in the Galeshewe Magistrates court.

The group leaders of Group D, Brigadiers Nicky Mills, Bossie Jacobs, and Mojapela Moreki commended the members for their continued persistence in removing drugs from the streets.
