Couple targeted with black magic in Verulam

A 27-year-old beautician & her 33-year-old self-employed boyfriend are fearing for their safety after they found a piece of red string & note concealed under their vehicle.

The couple approached Reaction Unit, South Africa, this morning (Monday) seeking assistance after they received multiple telephonic death threats, WhatsApp messages & a message tied to a string believed to be linked to black magic. The card on the red string (picture 1) was discovered on July 27, 2020, after the man found the front bumper on his white Nissan Livina loose. Upon closer inspection, he found the note attached to a red string with the couple’s name and the word “DIE” scribbled in black ink concealed inside the bumper.

The female complainant who resides in Missionlands – Verulam explained that she had received several vulgar Watsapp messages and several phone calls from a withheld number. The male suspect request to have sexual intercourse with her and reacted with death threats when she turned him down.

The male complainant, a resident of Temple Valley who is self-employed in the transport industry explained that he received multiple calls from an unknown person threatening to kill him. The caller was an Indian male and a female could be heard in the background. He also received threatening messages from a Cell C number since the beginning of July 2020.

The couple is being tormented by these suspects and is fearing for their lives. They are offering a financial reward to anyone who has information leading to the identification of these perpetrators.
