Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) are currently searching for four men who robbed a courier company vehicle on Glenaire Avenue, Brindhaven.
Reaction Officers were dispatched to the scene. On arrival, an employee of a courier company informed RUSA Members that he was in the process of removing packages from the back of the bakkie when he noticed a white Toyota Corolla with registration ND 368 337 with four male occupants drive past him.
Shortly after he locked the back door the victim noticed the Toyota Corolla making a u-turn and driving at a high rate of speed towards his vehicle. He dropped the packages he was carrying and jumped over a boundary wall.
The suspects picked up the packages and also stole other parcels from the front of the bakkie before fleeing the scene. The driver was not aware of what the contents of the packages were. He could also not confirm if the suspects were armed. The registration plates on the vehicle are believed to be cloned.
