A pedestrian sustained fatal injuries after he was knocked down by a taxi on the R510 in Ramochana, Rustenburg last night.
ER24 was busy responding to another call when they came across the incident shortly after 20h30. Upon further assessment, the man was found lying in the road. Unfortunately, he was showing no signs of life and he was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
