Southport SAPS are requesting the assistance of the public in solving two cases of theft which occurred in June 2020 in the Southport area. A warrant of arrest has been issued for the apprehension of 33-year-old Kubendren Govender aka Nolan Govender. He was previously residing at Bendigo Road in Southport but has since fled the area. The suspect took cash from the complainant to purchase vehicle spares in July 2020 and failed to buy the spares or return the complainant’s money and borrowed tools.
In another case, the suspect took a substantial amount of cash from a resident to repair his vehicle in June 2020 and did not. He disappeared with the complainant’s cash. All attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful.
