FREE STATE – The Police in Thaba’Nchu were summoned to Rietfontein Trust on Monday, 23 November 2020 at about 14:00 after a community member noticed a body floating at a dam.
On arrival the police found a body floating at a local dam in Rietfontein. The body of a male was retrieved and upon inspection, the police noticed that the victim’s head was beheaded. He was wearing a black legging, and is medium built and dark in complexion.
A case of murder has been registered for further investigation. The victim is unknown and cannot be identified at this stage as his head is yet to be found.
