NORTHERN CAPE – The Provincial team including Crime Intelligence, and Kuruman High Way Patrol members, tracked down a man listed in a national wanted list and arrested him in Kuruman. Nicholas Manci is a wanted suspect in a case of murder, aggravated robbery, and kidnapping in Danielskuil, Northern Cape. The police were on his trail after a warrant of his arrest was issued after he absconded to attend a criminal trial case in the Northern Cape High Court.
He is also wanted in Middelburg for a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
During his arrest on Tuesday, 15 December 2020 he was found in possession of a firearm which was later established that it’s a BB gun. The suspect is expected to appear before the Kimberley High Court soon.
In an unrelated incident, a trailer fully loaded with sheep and goats which cannot be accounted for by the owner of the trailer was impounded. The owner of the trailer could only account for only 11 goats which he had a document to transport from Northern Cape to Kwa Zulu Natal. Further investigation revealed that the trailer’s identification mark was tempered with.
