A male suspect has been apprehended by dRK Tactical after he forced entry to a home in Livingstone Road in Morningside earlier.
The man gained entry to the home where he confronted the homeowner’s children robbing them of a cellular phone before fleeing on foot.
Responding dRK Tactical armed response officers noticed the suspect fleeing down Innes Road towards Umgeni Road and apprehended him.
The suspect was handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
The victims did not suffer any injury in the ordeal.
