A taxi conductor who had taken a Toyota Hiace on a joy ride crashed into a boundary wall on New Glasgow Road in Canelands.
The owner of the property contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at and reported the incident. On arrival, it was established that the unlicensed conductor was tasked with washing the taxi when he decided to go for a drive. During his trip, he reversed into a boundary wall.
No injuries were reported.
