The Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has been contacted to assist in the rehabilitation and relocation of a Blue Duiker that is currently housed at the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters.
The RUSA Operations Center was contacted by a resident of Russom Street in Verulam at 21:04 (Monday) after his dog attacked the duiker that stumbled onto his property. The Boxer eventually released the animal and it was removed by Reaction Officers.
The animal suffered injuries to its neck & limbs.
