A vehicle from Port Shepstone which entered Q-section in uMlazi was flagged by Tracker as a vehicle entering a high-risk area. Alpha Alarms dispatched members with Tracker to go out there and checked if the vehicle was safe, with both the driver and the owner.
After speaking to the owner of the vehicle, he confirmed that the vehicle was there for work purposes. uMlazi is considered one of the country’s hijacking hot spots. The driver was alerted to be extra cautious while driving around the area.
The owner of the vehicle was thankful to Alpha Alarms for being pro-active.
