Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the Chatsworth Main Road in Umhlatuzana Durban.
Reports indicate that a motorcycle and car were involved in a head-on collision.
The motorcyclist, an adult male had sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene by an Emergency Care Practitioner.
One stabilised the patient was flown by a Netcare 911 Helicopter ambulance to the hospital.
