Housebreaking suspect nabbed by Alpha Alarms and community members

Three suspects driving a silver Chevrolet broke the lounge window and gained access into a house
on Junagarth Road in Merebank, while the family’s son was alone inside.

One suspect was apprehended by community members and Alpha Alarms response. Unfortunately, the other suspects fled the scene. A screwdriver and crowbar were found on the apprehended suspect.

The suspect was handed over to SAPS for further investigations.
