Last night 02 June 2021 at about 18h00 police arrested a 32-year-old man for possession of drugs at Skithi Informal Settlement, Butterworth.
Police were busy with operation Vuthu Hawe in their policing precinct doing stop and search and patrols when they followed up on information they received about drugs at a shack. The suspect was found in possession of twenty-five (25) tik straws and eight (8) mandrax tablets. The suspect was arrested and charged for possession of drugs.
The suspect is appearing before the Butterworth Magistrate’s Court today 03 June 2021.
