Drugs seized in Parklands with arrests

In the quest to rid the streets of Cape Town of drugs, police members pursued information about drug dealing at a complex in the Parklands area yesterday.

Police officers approached the residence and confiscated a total of 4000 mandrax tablets and one kg of Methamphetamine worth an estimated street value of R120 000. Two women aged 30 and one male aged 40 were arrested and once charged they are expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate court.

The efforts of the members are commanded by SAPS management for such a significant seizure.
