Public assistance required to locate a missing elderly man

The South African Police Service in Bolobedu outside Tzaneen requires assistance in locating a 74-year-old man, Molate Alpheus Mahasha, who reportedly went missing on Sunday, 20 June 2021 at Mabulana village.

It is alleged that the daughter of the elderly man left her father at home at about 11:30 when she went to attend a church service. During the day, she received a phone call from her sister that an elderly man was missing and he did not inform anyone about his destination.

A search operation was conducted at relatives and surrounding areas without success. The man is 1, 6 m in height and he was last seen wearing black trousers, black Nike sneakers and a black top work suit at the time of his disappearance.
