Bakkie for sale hijacked in Sea View

The white Isuzu bakkie with registration NT 33099 was hijacked while being test driven in Edwin Swales, Sea View.

The victim advertised his bakkie for sale and was contacted telephonically by a man requesting to view and test drive the vehicle. Both parties agreed to meet at a shopping complex in the Edwin Swales.

On arrival, the buyer was in the company of a second male. They inspected the vehicle and requested to test drive it. The owner accompanied the two. During the test drive one of the men produced a firearm and forced the vicitm out of the vehicle before they sped off in his vehicle.
