Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to a house on fire on Sunbird Place in Dawncrest, KZN at 10:07 this morning (Saturday).
RUSA Members arrived on scene and found thick black smoke emanating from the house. The prayer room was engulfed in flames and the fire was spreading to other rooms. With the use of a garden hose and buckets of water, Reaction Officers and the public contained the fire until the arrival of the Ethekwini Fire & Rescue Services. Firemen entered the home and extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not established.
