Five people were injured this morning, three critically, when a bakkie and light motor vehicle collided on Ravel Road in Vanderbijlpark.
ER24 and other services arrived at 09h00 to find both a bakkie and a light motor vehicle in the middle of the road. A woman was seated inside the light motor vehicle while four other patients were found on the road.
Medics assessed the patients and found that the woman and two men were critical while two others had sustained minor injuries.
Medics treated the patients and provided the three critically injured with advanced life support.
After treatment, the patients were transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further care.
