On Tuesday 12 October 2021 at 10:24 a client phoned the Blue Hawk Tactical control room regarding a silver VW Polo acting suspiciously in the Springs area.
Blue Hawk Tactical Response and Blue Hawk Tactical K9 Unit responded. The vehicle was stopped and the occupants jumped out. After an intense chase one suspect was arrested. The suspect had a few cellphones and a large amount of cash on him. The EMPD Covid Team assisted and after the investigation was found that an elderly lady was robbed of a large amount of cash. The suspect, vehicle, cellphones, and cash were handed over to the Metro Police officers. Our K9 Brenda assisted with the search of the veld.
