One of two suspects who attempted to break into business premises was arrested by members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) in the Verulam CBD, KZN during the early parts of this morning.
Acting on a tip-off, Reaction Officers were dispatched to a business that was being broken into on Todd Street. On arrival at approximately 02:19, Officers notice two males fleeing the premises. RUSA Members pursued the suspects who fled in different directions. One of the suspects was apprehended on Wick Street while his accomplice managed to evade arrest.
The man was placed under arrest and was handed over to Police for further investigation.
