In recent weeks Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) has attended to several cases of Housebreaking & Theft, Common Robberies, Stabbings, etc. in the Brindhaven – Verulam area.
The crime in the area has escalated drastically. Homeowners, Domestic Workers, Students, and Joggers are repeatedly being targeted by criminals. Reaction Officers have made several arrests and in most cases, the suspects were released on bail and reoffended or not detained as no criminal cases were desired.
RUSA & SAPS will be creating visibility and conducting Planned Operations that will result in arrests.
Residents in the Brindhaven area are requested to be on high alert.
