Two suspects, aged 31 and 26 were arrested, yesterday 11 November 2021 at 22:30, by members of Witbank Visible Policing and Crime Intelligence respectively, for possession of a stolen vehicle, jamming devices as well illegal ammunition.
The members were busy with routine patrols at Klarinet Extension 3 when they spotted a suspicious grey Audi A7 without number plates parked next to the street. They then conducted a routine search on both the occupants as well as inside the vehicle and found illegal ammunition as well as jamming devices, which were confiscated. The members also established that the vehicle was stolen.
The two suspects were then swiftly arrested and will appear in the Emalahleni Magistrate’s Court on Monday 15 November 2021.
Investigations are continuing as it is believed that the suspects might be positively linked to other similar cases.
