This afternoon, seven people were injured when a taxi rear-ended another on Zuurfontein Road in Chloorkop.
ER24 and other services arrived at 14h55 to find both taxis on the road. Several passengers from the two taxis were seen walking around the scene.
Medics assessed the patients and found that seven adults had sustained moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and thereafter transported to Tembisa Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
