Pietermaritzburg SAR members assisted a patient that had fallen from a building

Pietermaritzburg Search And Rescue and Pietermaritzburg K9 SAR members were called to assist ambulance services at a construction site in Chesterfield Road, Eastwood area for a patient that had fallen from a building.

On arrival, members found Paramedics on the third floor treating the patient who had sustained serious injuries to his leg.

SAPS Search and Rescue members along with Mi7 Rescue Paramedics managed to navigate a safer route through the obstacles in the construction site and the patient was taken down safely to the ground floor to be transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
