Police in Pampierstad bust drug dealer with drugs worth more than R7000

A 33-year-old man is expected to appear in the Pampierstad Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of dealing drugs.

On Wednesday, 23 February 2022, the Station Commander of Pampierstad police station, Lieutenant Colonel Selebilekgosi Morebodi, activated members under his command subsequent to receiving intelligence about drug dealing activities at a house in Medupi Street, Pampierstad.

The suspect’s residence was searched and crystal meth with an estimated street value of more than R7000-00 was found and confiscated including cash to the value of R25000-00 which is believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

The Station Commander of Pampierstad, Lieutenant Colonel Selebilekgosi Morebodi commended members for acting promptly on intelligence, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
