Four people have been injured in a factory fire on Karim Lane in Clairwood just after 10h30 on Tuesday morning.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services arrived on the scene to find the Ethekwini Fire Department and employees from the factory fighting the blaze. Four employees from the factory sustained minor smoke inhalation and were treated on the scene before being transported by ALS Paramedics to a nearby Durban hospital for the further treatment that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the fire is unknown however SAPS and the Ethekwini Fire Department will be investigating further.
