Stolen vehicle recovered in Waterloo

A silver Hyundai IX35 that was stolen from Currie Road in Berea, Durban – KZN was recovered by Reaction Officers in Waterloo – KZN.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the Waterloo Community Community Center at approximately 08:19 after receiving a tip-off. On arrival, Reaction Officers recovered the vehicle that was stolen this morning. According to an informer, three occupants in a white Ford Ranger bakkie (registration unknown) who were in the process of stripping the vehicle sped off minutes prior to the arrival of First Responders.

Reaction Officers conducted a search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
