Two suspects aged 26 and 47-year-old, are appearing in the Ntuzuma Magistrates Court today for possession of the stolen property.
Yesterday, at about 20:00, members of KwaMashu Crime prevention unit were conducting their routine duties, when they received intelligence information about a stolen vehicle. They proceeded to the identified address in the G section, where police officers found a white Corsa bakkie parked on the premises.
A preliminary investigation was conducted and it was established that the vehicle was hijacked in the Greenwood Park area in December 2021. The two suspects were placed under arrest and charged with Section 36.
