A fifty-year-old man has been killed after he was struck by a minibus taxi whilst attempting to cross Chris Hani Road in the Avoca area just after 18h00 on Friday night.
Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man lying in the road way having suffered fatal injuries. He was declared dead on the scene.
