The body of 36 year old Nhlanhla Kweyaman was discovered burnt in Ndondolo – KZN today (Thursday).
Kweyaman (pictured) is a resident of Durban – KZN. He was expected to visit his mother in Emona on Saturday (28/05/2022). His family received confirmation that he boarded a taxi in Tongaat Central and disembarked in Emona however he could not be located since.
His sister contacted Reaction Unit South Africa yesterday (Wednesday) requesting assistance to circulate his information via social media in an attempt to locate him. A missing persons case was also registered at the Tongaat SAPS.
This morning (Thursday), his family received information that the body of man was recovered by the community in Ndondolo – KZN. His sister proceeded to the location and discovered a partially burnt body which is believed to be Kweyaman. A Nissan 1400 bakkie was also completely burnt near his body. Kweyaman did not own a vehicle. According to his sister, Kweyaman also appeared to have sustained five gunshot wounds to his body.
The motive for the murder is under investigation.
