A Reaction officer is in a critical condition following a shooting incident on Lyttleton Avenue in Reservoir Hills just after 8 pm on Wednesday evening.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services arrived together with Netcare911 on the scene to find that a reaction officer believed to be in his forties had sustained multiple gunshots wounds to his body in a shooting incident. The officer was in a critical condition and was stabilized on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being rushed through to a nearby Durban hospital for the further treatment that he required.
At this stage the events leading up to the incident are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
