A 27-year-old man suffered moderate injuries after he was run over on the southbound lane of the R102 between Ottawa & Verulam – KZN today (Tuesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:07. On arrival, Reaction Officers met with the driver of a blue Hyundai IX35. He explained that the pedestrian fled across the road giving him little time to react.
The injured male sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital by a private ambulance service.
