Vehicle Gutted In Fire: Oaklands – KZN

A VW Golf was gutted in a fire on Oakbridge Place in Oaklands – KZN this morning (Friday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 06:13 and discovered the vehicle engulfed in flames. According to the driver, he noticed flames emanating from the engine compartment shortly after starting the vehicle. The fire thereafter spread rapidly through the entire car. The blaze was extinguished on arrival of the Ethekwini Fire Department.

Circumstances surrounding the fire has not been established.
