Three men who orchestrated the murder of Cape Town lawyer advocate Pete Mihalik, was sentenced to life imprisonment today, 10 August 2023.
The Western Cape provincial commissioner Lieutenant General TE Patekile welcomed the sentence and commended the investigating officer Detective Warrant Officer John Bruce van Staden and the state prosecutor Advocate Gregory Wolmarans and all other role players for their excellent collaboration and their meticulous handling of the case that led to the sentencing of the accused for their callous deed of violence that claimed the life of Mihalik.
