A forty-six-year-old female was killed when she was struck by a light motor vehicle on Chris Hani Road in the Avoca area north of Durban.
Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene just after 16h30 to find the female lying in the roadway with fatal injuries. Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do to assist her and she was declared dead on their arrival.
